I like em!

First off, let me start by saying, I did a decent amount of research on these shoes. Looked at Google, Reddit, YouTube etc reviews and while I was still on the fence, I think what tipped me over was the gen.E video that popped up on my feed.

Let's start with the pros:

- from a price point, you can't beat Impakto. I picked up the workout barefoot pair in green and overall, it's a good buy. The finish and quality seem really good. Again, I've only had these for 2-3 weeks and I've worn them a total of 2 (yes two) times so keep that in mind.
- I like the idea of elastic laces up front and a velcro strap to hold down the shoe.
- if you're used to regular shoes, there's a run-in period when you switch to barefoot shoes (any brand -indian or international). I didn't have any issues with the shoes per say. Day 1 was just a little weird wearing them.
- as I write this review, I've been in my pair for about 4 hours now and I am extremely comfortable.

Cons
-none that I can see for now. Time will tell if it holds up or not.
-Most regular shoes have a thicker sole so walking in India (gravel etc) has less impact on your feet. In these, I will obviously feel it more. It's a barefoot pair at the end.

Overall, I am happy with these shoes. Depending on how this goes, I might consider buying a 2nd pair and taking it to Toronto for the summer 🤞🏽.
